Contacts AI by Bizbotify ("Contacts AI" or "the App", formerly known as "BizNetwork") is developed and operated by APPMETRY TECHNOLOGIES LLP ("Appmetry", "we", "our", or "us").
This Privacy Policy explains how Contacts AI collects, processes, and protects information when you use the App.
1. Information We Process
Depending on the features you use, Contacts AI may process:
- Business card images
- Photos selected from your device
- Voice recordings
- Text notes
- Contact information extracted from images, voice recordings, or text
- Basic device information required for diagnostics and app functionality
Contacts AI does not require user registration or login to use its core features.
2. How We Use Your Information
Information is processed only to:
- Capture and organize contacts
- Extract contact details using OCR or AI
- Create structured contact records
- Enable search, follow-up reminders, and export features
- Improve application performance and reliability
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Local Storage
Contacts AI is designed as an offline-first application.
Your contacts, images, notes, and recordings are stored locally on your device. Appmetry does not maintain a cloud copy of your contacts unless you choose to sync them to Bizbotify (see Section 5).
If you enable Apple iCloud Backup, Android device backup, or other device backup services, your data may be included according to your device settings.
If you uninstall the App without restoring from a backup, your locally stored data may be permanently lost.
4. AI Processing
AI processing occurs only after you explicitly choose to process captured information (for example, by tapping Next).
You may choose to:
- Use your own AI API key, or
- Use Appmetry-managed AI processing through available AI Processing Credits.
When Appmetry-managed AI processing is used, the submitted images, voice recordings, and text are securely transmitted to one or more trusted AI service providers solely to complete your request.
Appmetry does not permanently store your submitted content on its servers and does not use your content to train AI models or build contact databases.
5. Bizbotify Integration
Contacts AI works with Bizbotify, our WhatsApp, AI, and CRM platform. Connecting the App to a Bizbotify workspace is optional.
If you connect a Bizbotify workspace:
- Only the contacts, notes, and tags you choose to sync are sent to Bizbotify.
- Synced information becomes visible to members of that workspace.
- Synced information is processed under the Bizbotify privacy policy published at bizbotify.com.
You can disconnect your workspace at any time. Contacts already synced remain in Bizbotify until deleted there.
6. Permissions
Depending on the features you use, Contacts AI may request access to:
- Camera
- Photos
- Contacts
- Microphone
- Notifications
- Internet connectivity
These permissions are requested only when required to provide the corresponding functionality.
7. Analytics and Diagnostics
Contacts AI may use analytics and crash reporting services to improve application stability, performance, and reliability.
These services are used to diagnose technical issues and do not intentionally collect or store your contact information.
8. Sharing of Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Information is shared only:
- to process AI requests initiated by you,
- with your Bizbotify workspace, when you choose to sync contacts,
- to provide requested app functionality,
- when required by law.
9. Your Choices
You remain in control of your information.
You may:
- Delete contacts at any time.
- Delete capture sessions.
- Export your contacts.
- Stop using AI features at any time.
- Use your own AI provider by supplying your own API key.
- Disconnect Bizbotify sync at any time.
10. Children's Privacy
Contacts AI is a general-purpose productivity and networking application and is not specifically directed toward children.
If you are under the age required to consent to data processing in your country or region, you should use the App with the involvement or permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on our website and within the App where applicable.
